Seattle Concertgoer Resource Center

Like so many things related to The Bacon Review, I owe a ton of gratitude to Mr. Ryan Spain for compiling the valuable information below.

Concert Venues

Small clubs and large arenas within a reasonable driving distance of the greater Seattle metro area that host performances of live music multiple times a year.

Each venue name links to its event calendar. When the parenthetical newsletter link is in quotation marks, it means the page isn’t dedicated to newsletter sign-up, but searching that page for the quoted text will show you where on the page it is.

The “Gmailing List” Concert-Info Hack

How to sign up for venue newsletters without compromising personal security.

  1. Make a new gmail address for the sole purpose of signing up for venue and artist mailing lists.

  2. Set it up to forward mail to your primary email address.

  3. Create a filter to tag incoming email from it as "Music" and, if desired, add other rules and filters to move it out of your inbox and into a "Music" folder, mark mail containing the names of "must-see" artists as "important," etc.

  4. Use the links on this page and your own searching to sign your new email up for the mailing lists of your favorite venues and artists!

Ticket Marketplaces

Don’t trust The Bacon Review’s word; purchase responsibly. Always search “Is [Business Name] legit?” before making your first purchase, and seek out multiple non-sketchy sources confirming that they are indeed legit.
